I liked True Romance and Pulp Fiction, same vintage, early -'90s, a lot. Trent Reznor's soundtrack work, sure. But NBKs is where I have to draw the line: strobe-lighted violent gimmickry and neon dogshit vanity project and should not be in any way honored or encouraged. That's all.
I rather enjoy(ed) and admire Leonard Cohen's work. I know Greil doesn't quite share a fondness for Cohen as he does with Dylan, but alas...
